A MESSAGE FROM BRUCE:

Friends,

The challenges we face today are different than we have seen in the past with the escalating energy cost, the unsettled housing market and the dynamic nature of electing a new President. People are paying attention and want more concrete answers from their elected leaders.

Rising energy costs affect us all. Taxpayers pay two bills at once. They pay for gas and electricity to get to work and care for their families, and they pay for all the gas and electricity to feed the government—one of our largest energy users. State government must do its share to conserve energy and operate more efficiently to reduce energy consumption.

In Olympia, I continue to work on legislation to fight gangs, create more access to water for our farms and communities and to advance issues to help small businesses prosper and grow. In addition, healthcare cost, immigration reform and education still need attention.

I appreciate the privilege you have given me to serve you as your state representative and I will continue to work hard on all fronts to be the best representative I can be on your behalf.

Sincerely,

Bruce Chandler
